Eligible families with children between the ages of 3 and 5 years can participate in the Lewis County Head Start program! This early childhood education program provides children with opportunities to develop social skills, problem solving, independence and essential pre-kindergarten skills.

They also provide nutritious meals and support for families (including mental health services and job skills for parents)!

To be eligible, a child must be three or four years old by August 31st. Children who are 5 but are not yet eligible for Kindergarten may also be eligible for Head Start.

Transportation is available along established bus routes. Service is available in English and Spanish.
