Domestic Violence Program
Domestic violence includes emotional abuse,physical violence, threats, sexual abuse or stalking by someone you have a relationship with. Domestic violence is a controlling pattern of behavior that results in fear, isolation and/or harm to victims and their children.

SafeHaven, Lewis County’s emergency shelter for female Domestic Violence victims and their children, is available 24/7. They also provide advocacy services and even a legal advocate to help you figure out your rights and your options.
Emergency shelter is provided for victims of domestic violence and their children. The location of the shelter is confidential. The address provided is for the agency itself.
You may call ANY time for assistance. Service is available in Spanish. For service in Spanish, please call (360) 880-0515.Please call ahead for safety. Advocates can meet you in your community if travelling to Chehalis is a barrier for you.
Sexual Assault Program
Sexual assault is any verbal, visual or physical contact that forces a person to join in unwanted sexual contact or attention. For more information about sexual assault and the first steps to take after assault, please see the Human Response Network website.
The Human Response Network can connect you to a trained advocate who has completed 50 hours of training and will have empathy for you as they help you through your situation. They will provide you with support, understanding, information about your rights and they will accompany you through the exam, police interview and court proceedings if you want them to.
